The OPTIFLUX 4400 is an electromagnetic flowmeter designed to IEC 61508 for use in safety instrumented systems up to SIL 2/3, supporting automated partial proof testing to extend intervals between full proof tests. Its Multi Phase Operation technology maintains stable, repeatable flow and conductivity readings even during gas entrainment, solids or electromagnetic disturbances. Built-in OPTICHECK diagnostics, a colour-coded NAMUR NE 107 display and wireless Bluetooth verification via the OPTICHECK Flow Mobile app simplify commissioning, monitoring and maintenance. A wide choice of liner and electrode materials makes it suitable for corrosive liquids, abrasive slurries and chemical dosing duties across compact or field-mounted configurations.
